A Golden Guitar Winner Coming to Town

One of Australia’s top traditional Country Music singers Dean Perrett is bringing his entertaining country show to Pittsworth supported by Singer and Country Guitarist Glen Albrecht.

Both popular country acts in their own right, Dean and Glen have decided to join forces to bring a quality packed show of great traditional Country Music to the Mary MacKillop Hall at St. Stephen’s School, Murray Street, Pittsworth on Sunday 12 July at 2pm.

January 2015 saw Dean Perrett awarded two Golden Guitars at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, one for Bush Ballad of the Year and the second for his duet with popular Country act Troy Cassar-Daley, now bringing Dean’s tally of Golden Guitars to three.

Dean is a multi-awarded Singer/Songwriter who writes and sings songs of the Australian Bush and its people which are very real and vivid.  Having been raised and still working on the family cattle property when not on the road making music, Dean writes songs about what he knows and the life he lives which means real Country Music.  Now with 13 albums under his belt and a recording career that started in 1989, Dean has become a leading name in the art of Australian Story Songs.
